If You Please began in February 2010, when Amber Thomson decided she wanted make the most of her passion for lingerie by opening a little boutique in Camden Lock. Taking on a tiny amount of stock to begin with, Amber began by selling stockings, frilly knickers and bullet bras to the vintage crowd. She soon realised that she wasn't the only person with an obsession for pretty underwear and the hourglass figure and soon the demand for more sizes and styles became huge. Eager to please, she got busy searching for more uniquely designed fancies, filling up the little shop as she went along. She added shapewear, loungewear and corsets, as well as laying the foundations for her own lingerie label. Amber soon out-grew the shop and thought, what better way to keep expanding and to reach her international customers than by putting all of her lovely brands together into one online boutique.
